It was one of the best hotels of my stay during this holiday and in top 3 of hotels during my visits to Iceland ;) For the price what you get it was awesome. You can see it is one of the newer hotels. Excellent single room for solo traveller, bed, shower and even toilet. Enough powerpoint to charge your telephone. Maybe the best room I ever had in Iceland . Check out around 12.00 is excellent if you have a late flight back, so you don't have to hurry and can sleep longer especially of you have a heavy tour the day before. Great view also :) Sometimes is better to pay a little more for your accomondation (if you can affort it).

The hotel is very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was amazing, very fresh and always topped up. Lots of choice. One gripe however is that they advertise a ‘breakfast box’ for early departures for flights / trips etc, but then try to charge over 2000 krona for it 🤣 Shame because there are times you will miss the breakfast because of this. They do put some plain croissants out with coffee but they’re a bit dry, no butter / jam etc. Location was good enough, 10-15 mins walk into town then once you’re there Reykjavik is very small / walkable. Plus there are restaurants nearby, the pizza place next door is good.

The breakfast was very good choice & quality, we enjoyed our breakfast every morning before we set off to explore Iceland. A good sized triple room, requested all the bed to be separated and they were done so, the beds were positioned were we all happy. The room was very clean and catered to daily! The staff were excellent very approachable credit to you all, they were very helpful especially one young lady who helped us organise our day with recommendations and transfers, we have a lot of good memories and enjoyed every bit of the day!

Breakfast buffet was good, and included scrambled eggs and bacon, so more than just cold buns and cheese. But no smoked salmon, which is included in the best nordic-style buffets in other hotels. On-site free (i.e. included) parking was essential for our rented car. Of course, you trade-off location. The hotel is a bit too far from shopping and city attractions for easy walking. So you need the car, or the city bus (good if you know how to pay for it - we don't).

Paul

Staff friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Breakfast was very comprehensive, a lot of choice. Room clean and comfortable. Hotel is a little out of the city centre but it was ideal for me - my plans were for very close by. Car parking was available next to the hotel and there were a number of restaurants only a short walk away.
